Tips, Ties And Tactics Naples Fishing In July: Without A Guide
Posted by MikePat on Saturday, June 21 @ 09:27:42 PDT

I'll be in Naples the first week of July for a family vacation, but I should be able to get in a day or two of fishing. I don't have the money to hire a guide, but I will if it is necessary. Would I have a chance without one?

What can I expect? Thanks

You need to decide. To have a quality fishing experience with a chance to test your skills with a fine guide over great fish at a dollar amount OR, to try to get pointed to foot acces and then hit-or miss long walks at either the wrong or right tides at crowded locations often a waste of gas.

IMHO going to fly fish the Florida salt is a precious experience of learning and excitement. THAT alone demands that I hire a guide. Money is just money. And the guides in Naples earn every cent. You will be happy ...not spinning your wheels.
