Tips, Ties And Tactics Angling Exploration Group: Fly Fishing Film Tour
Posted by fliesandfinssouth on Monday, March 19 @ 17:51:17 PDT

I recently came across the schedule for the 2007 Fly Fishing Film Tour, and saw that there was a stop scheduled for Naples, Fl, my home. A few days before the event, I went back online to confirm the location and noticed it had been canceled here. I was very disappointed, as I really wanted to check out what those guys are doing.

I would like to hear from someone that made it to a showing. The way technology is being used on the water these days blows my mind, and I am really interested in what the guys outside of my loop are doing to utilize these amazing technologies.

Aren't those the guys from Trout Bum Diaries Volume 1 ?

I recently purchased a couple of Danish DVD about flyfishing for searun browns in the Baltic.
On those videos they showed extensive underwaterfootage of hunting trout.
The section that showed the movement and behaviour of sandeels, shrimp and other fooditems underwater was a real eyeopener.

I just ordered a copy of Mike Laptews Stripers gone wild which also seems to hold a lot of interesting underwater footage.
Might be handy for our seabass fishery this summer.

, the way their prey moves
