Tips, Ties And Tactics Fly Fishing Vero Beach FL: East Coast Tactics
Posted by joey on Wednesday, February 21 @ 15:14:37 PST

I will be on the east coast during the second week of March and was wondering what my chances are of catching anything. I am usually on the the west coast and am not familiar with fishing conditions on the other side. I will be in Vero Beach and staying on an inlet.

Any thoughts?

Well, you are really close to the Bahamas! Actually I would start somewhere around Titusville, and try to find some redfish. If I were in your shoes, I'd definitely start by doing some research and hiring a guide for a few days.

Call Captain Eric Davis at "the Back Country" in Vero Beach. He knows his poop about the area. 772-567-6665

Go to F&F and check out the florida snook video I posted. He was the guide in this video. You will not be dissapointed.

taken on the Sebastion River. right there in Vero Beach. Fishing was SICK!
