Tips, Ties And Tactics Spring Break In Naples: Guide For A Lone Fisherman
Posted by JimD on Friday, February 09 @ 12:49:25 PST

Hi all,
I will be in Naples from March 4-10 and I was interested in recommendations for a good guide service. I'd like to go fly fishing for a half day or so and I was wondering if anyone knew of a guide service that paired up single persons? I'd love to go out on a skiff or boat but I don't really have the $300-$350 to do it myself for a half day.

Does anyone know of guides that pair strangers for a half day of fishing for trips? This way my cost would be more feasible for me. Or alternatively, is there a fly shop in the Naples area that rents fly rod outfits? Would you recommend this or should I go with a guide? I have about 3 years exp. with a fly rod seeking trout in northern NH and Massachusetts.
Thanks for any help.
Jim
