Bones in Bahamas: Best Time Of The Year?
Posted by greg on Tuesday, April 25 @ 05:25:50 PDT
The best time for Bones is in May? I was told that the other day, it seems like the time of year someone goes is always the best time. Whats the real deal!

The bigger fish can tolerate the cooler water temps, and feed eagerly on the flats. For all around numbers of fish, the warmer months bring fish of all sizes and shapes into the shallower flats where they can be stalked on foot with great success. I've heard that in the summer the fish are so thick that you can walk across them. I know one thing, I'll be there in May! |

When the wind finally calmed down from the fronts and the big tides were during the day, life was good. Big schools of fish (I'm talking 100's) up to ten pounds. It's a lot cooler then, so more hours to fish too. Basically anytime is a good time down there. Just my two cents. |
