Tips, Ties And Tactics Florida Trip: Where To Go
Posted by gilly09 on Friday, April 07 @ 16:54:14 PDT

Gents,
Considering a trip to florida. Would like an opportunity to fish a location where I can bring the family and we can all have a good time.

I'd either do a DIY or hire out a guide.
Any location recommendations for a family of 4 with kids ages 6 & 4 would be great.
Tight lines,
Gilly

Gilly,

What exactly are you looking for, a quiet escape, tourist beach getaway, theme park? There are a lot of options here. Let me know the details, and I will help you line it up.

maybe sanibel/captiva. Nice small beach town, little shops and whatnot, and 1 1/2 hours from bush gardens. oh yeah, some decent diy opportunities right now.

Renting a house on little gasparilla island is a great choice. Its a private island only accesible by boat(w/ of course nice private beach). It is really not that expensive. The fishing is great, either in the flats with a guide or on the a dock with the kids.
